#1 “Love You More” by JLS When I listen to this song I think of little girls screaming this song and crying with posters. It’s a very endearing song, maybe a little too sweet for my taste, but sweet. TONE IT DOWN
#6 “Like A G6” by Far East Movement Featuring Cataracs and Dev I’m absolutely thrilled to see this song experiencing the success it has experienced. For me, it started as a new college song last February or March, and since then it has blown up. Added bonus, got to see the Cataracs live last week, it was awesome. My goal is to fly on a G6 while listening to this jam. REPEAT IT, CRANK IT, NEVER GET SICK OF IT,
#10 “Safe” by Westlife What is it with the mushy love songs? I feel like I should whip out my lighter and start swaying. PONDER IT
#18 “What’s My Name” By Rihanna Featuring Drake O Na Na, your name is Rihanna, and I like this song(a). I tried, but clearly being a lyricist is not in my future and there’s a reason why we let Rihanna make the music, and why I listen. This song is sick, and it jumped over to the UK really quickly. A strong pairing like Rihanna and Drake is bound to deliver. REPEAT IT, CRUISE IT
#22 “Game Over” by Tinchy Stryder Featuring Chipmunk The only youtube videos I could find of this song included a long list of big names including Giggs, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah Devlin, and Example. I think the song’s heavy beat is sick, but that’s about all it brings to the table. I feel like seeing this song live would be more exciting. PONDER IT, SEE IT LIVE?
#38 “Just Drive” by Alistair Griffin This song has a very ballady song. Somehow it has some country elements, but it deter me from liking it. I feel like this should be in trailer for a Nikolas Sparks book-turned-movie. For the sake of the title, CRUISE IT, but actually CRY IT
#40 “Hey Jude” by The Beatles This song was a little unexpected to see on the charts, but with the new box set release on iTunes, and the general Beatles campaign on iTunes it kind of made sense. I mean the song, is famous for a reason, it’s an awesome song. RETRO IT
